PPL Legal Eagles Group - Team Platinum Vision History
In 1969 due to an auto accident with costly legal fees the idea of a Pre-Paid Legal plan was born to Mr. Harland Stonecipher. Three years later with the support of his wife Shirley, Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. became a reality.
In 1980, Wilburn Smith quit his job at a local supermarket in Oklahoma and joined the Pre-Paid Legal sales force.
In 1983, Pre-Paid Legal began applying the network marketing concept and Fran and Woody Alexander became associates in Wilburn’s organization thus the Legal Eagles Group was born. (Woody passed away in 1999 but thanks to PPL he got a chance to live his dreams with Fran and family) Today Fran continues to support her organization and elected her son Tom and his wife Sue Reno who are also Executives in PPL as CFOs of her organization “FranWood Enterprises” a.k.a. the Legal Eagles Group.
In 1993, Pre-Paid Legal made a strong move to California and the west coast. Carmelo Flores became an associate through Fran and Woody’s organization and Russell and Carole Peden were among the first associates to join his organization in 1993 along with Aaron and Gloria Berger. Today, both Russell and Aaron are Platinum Executive Directors, Platinum Jacket Earners, Six-Figure Ring Earners and Millionaire Club Members with multiple Executive Directors and Six-Figure Ring Earners in their respective organizations.
These individuals are part of the core leadership of the Legal Eagles Group-Team Platinum Vision and their mission is to empower their communities, friends and family with access to Equal Justice under law and to help them maximize the Business Opportunity with Pre-Paid Legal to achieve Financial and Time Freedom. Today Carmelo’s organization has over 125,000 associates across the USA and Canada and last year generated over 20 Million Dollars in revenue for Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc.
